Leigh Anne Timiney

Leigh Anne is a rare Phoenix native, born and raised in west Phoenix. She attended Cortez High School before attending Arizona State University where she focused her studies towards Broadcasting and Communications. While at ASU, Leigh Anne worked at internships with KTAR radio, where she covered the Phoenix Suns and Arizona Cardinals and ESPN, where she worked on the Sunday Night Football crew. Leigh Anne graduated from ASU in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast Communications. 

Following her graduation from Arizona State University, Leigh Anne was lucky enough to land a job as a morning news report and anchor at the CBS Affiliate in Phoenix, KPHO Channel 5. 

Ultimately, Leigh Anne decided to attend law school and studied at Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, graduating with her Juris Doctorate in 2001. 

After graduating, Leigh Anne formed her own private practice law firm, Timiney Law Firm, which she managed for 11 years. She focused her practice on Plaintiff’s Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice. In 2013, Leigh Anne merged her firm with a larger law firm, Dyer & Ferris. At Dyer & Ferris, in additional to Plaintiff’s Personal Injury, Leigh Anne focused her practice on Probate and Probate Litigation. 

Leigh Anne loves spending time with her friends and family, hiking and going to movies. She loves all sports and particularly loves football season. 

In addition to her work with Freeman Law, Leigh Anne also currently works for the Arizona State Senate.
